Three beat up father, son in UAE go on trial
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Three men stood trial at Sharjah Criminal Court for allegedly assaulting a man and his son, while causing permanent disability to the latter. They also damaged the duo's car.

On January 25, 2017, the father and his son along with a number of witnesses testified in the case. During police investigation, it came to light that the three accused attacked and beat up the duo, while inflicting permanent injury on the son. They also destroyed their car and abused them.
The judiciary confronted the defendants with charges of assault, defamation and insult. They pleaded not guilty and said that the allegations were false.The court adjourned the case.
