Pakistan- Punjab CM sends health minister to Peshawar to control dengue

PESHAWAR, 20 August: Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir has arrived in Peshawar on the directions of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to help the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government overcome the spread of dengue virus.

Imran Nazir said while talking to media persons that he has arrived in Peshawar on the directions of Shahbaz Sharif. He said the Punjab government will extend every cooperation to the KP government for controlling dengue. At least 862 people have been affected by dengue in KP during the last one month.

Meanwhile, KP Health Minister Shahram Tarakai said all the dengue patients will be provided free of cost medicines and tests facility. He said special desks for dengue patients have been formed at all the hospitals of KP.
