South Asia floods kill 600 people


(MENAFN) At least 600 people passed away and extra millions have been displaced and harmed by monsoon floods in South Asia.

In addition, officials added that the recent floods and landslides in the subcontinent started in the middle of the current month, as the annual monsoon reinforced its presence over the northern and eastern parts of the area.

Indian authorities asked for a military assistance in 2 regions of northern Uttar Pradesh state after new heavy floods made hundreds of civilians stuck.
