Swine flu affects 900 people in India during 2017


(MENAFN) Health Ministry officials revealed that they have witness a jump in swine flu cases in India, adding that it has claimed lives of about 900 people since January.

Moreover, the numbers are nearly triple the swine flu deaths tailed a year earlier, while it is below the 1,786 deaths recorded in 2015.

"Old people, infants and those suffering from chronic diseases are particularly susceptible to the A(H1N1) virus," according to Anil Bansal of the Delhi Medical Association.
