Qatar team to resume training in Doha
Doha: Qatar's first football team will resume its training in Doha today after the completion of its preparatory camp, which was held in Birmingham, England on August 2.
The preparatory camp comes as part of preparations for the matches against Syria in Malaysia on August 31 and against China on September 5 in Doha in the ninth round of qualifiers for the World Cup in Russia 2018 in Group A matches.
Qatar team played three friendly matches while camping in England, the first match Qatar win over Leeds United 2-0, lost the second against Nottingham Forest 1/2, and won the third against Andorra 1-0.
The Spanish coach Felix Sanchez gave players a two-day rest upon arrival and the team will resume training in preparation for the final test scheduled for next Wednesday against Turkmenistan.
