WANA, 19 August: Tehsildar Faiz Muhammad of Sra Rogha tehsil in South Waziristan Agency has been changed after public complaints.
The political administration said in a statement that Political Agent Zafarul Islam Khattak has transferred Faiz Muhammad and replaced him with Muhammad Imran who will now conduct survey of damaged houses.
The people of Sra Rogha tehsil had refused to carry out survey of damaged houses in the presence of Faiz Muhammad and demanded his transfer. The elders of 14 villages of Sra Rogha had also held a Jirga during which they said Faiz Muhammad was not carrying out survey of damaged houses in a transparent manner and he was ignoring damages of millions of rupees caused to the area people. The Jirga had decided not to carry out survey of damaged houses in presence of Faiz Muhammad.
