Iran approves USD7b drilling pacts with Turkey, Russia


(MENAFN) Iran's Ghadir Investment Holding stated that it has lately agreed a USD7 billion deals with Turkey's Unit International and Russia's state-owned Zarubezhneft in order to drill for oil and natural gas in the country.

Unit revealed that they had already conducted about USD7 billion for the drilling, which would take place at 3 oil units as well as another huge natural gas field in Iran.

On the other hand, the Turkish firm stated the total reserves at the 3 oil fields hit 10 billion barrels, and they are estimated to generate 100,000 barrels per day.
