(MENAFN) Sir Bruce Forsyth, the UK television presenter who played primetime family game shows for decades, passed away yesterday aged 89, according to his manager.
Tess Daly, his co-presenter on hit BBC dancing show stated "From the moment we met, Bruce and I did nothing but laugh our way through a decade of working together," adding that "I will never forget his generosity, his brilliant sense of humour and his drive to entertain the audiences he so loved."
She further said "I'm extremely fortunate to have worked alongside the man who defined Saturday night entertainment for many decades. He was a gentleman and a true legend."
