Saudi flag raised on giant Tinat

Riyadh, Dhu-Al-Qa'dah 25, 1438, August 17, 2017, SPA -- The Public Transport Authority organized a flag-raising ceremony today, announcing the debut of the giant tanker "Tinat" which was registered as a licensed Saudi carrier of the Saudi National Shipping Company ready to transport more than two million barrels of oil overseas.
The ceremony was held in Ras Tanura, in the presence of various authorities concerned as this new national achievement is related to the integration of giant oil tankers to the Kingdom's marine fleet contributing to the increase of efficiency, oil exports and support of the national economy.
The Authority has supervised the raising of the Saudi flag on the giant oil transport "ancestors", which will enter the loading area today, and is able to transport 300,000 tons of oil and load more than two million barrels, starting on Saturday from Ras Tanura.
