Germany's employment rate increases in Q2


(MENAFN) The Federal Statistical Office in Germany released figures showing that employment levels have reached a new record high in Germany.

In details, the number of employed people increased to 44.2mln in Q2 of 2017, an increase of 1.5 percent, or 664,000 jobs, compared to the same period last year..

However, the released report showed that jobs growth was above average for the past five years, even when adjusted in the construction and food sectors, the number of employed Germans still grew by 0.3% compared to the first quarter of the year.
