Catherine Koika, director of the diplomatic office of the president of Greece, was handed the message during a meeting with the ambassador of Qatar to Greece, Abdulaziz Ali al-Naama in Athens yesterday.

Qatar and Saint Kitts and Nevis signed an agreement establishing diplomatic relations between them at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations in New York yesterday.
HE the Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations, Ambassador Sheikha Alia Ahmed bin Saif al-Thani and the Permanent Representative of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the United Nations, ambassador Sam Terrence Condor, signed the agreement.
The two parties stressed the desire to establish bilateral relations in accordance with the charter of the United Nations and on the basis of the principles of peaceful coexistence, equality and mutual respect for each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity and non-interference in each other's internal affairs.
The two sides expressed their confidence that the establishment of diplomatic relations will contribute to the development of bilateral co-operation and the consolidation of world peace.

HE the Commander of Qatari Emiri Air Force Major General (Pilot) Mubarak bin Mohamed al-Kumait al-Khayarin yesterday met the Secretary of the US Air Force Heather Wilson, during her visit to the Qatari Emiri Air Force at Al-Udeid air base, accompanied by Chief of Staff of the US Air Force First Lieutenant David Goldfein, and Commander of the US Central Air Force Lieutenant General Jeffrey Harrigian.
The Directorate of Moral Guidance said that during the meeting, both sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of strengthening and developing them, as well as discussing matters of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commander of the Emiri Air Force Major-General Ahmed bin Ibrahim al-Malki, in addition to a number of senior officers of the armed forces of the two friendly countries.
