Qatar has a unique place in the region: Khanzada

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar's visionary leadership and diplomatic policies have given the country a unique position among the governments of the Middle East, Sarfraz Khanzada, former ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar and Sudan, said yesterday.
Speaking at Haqeeqat show aired on Qatar Urdu Radio, Khanzada said 'Qatar's ability to overcome the hurdles created during the blockade is attributed to the country's advancement in education, media and the power it has given to its people over the last two decades.
Khanzada said that Qatar has been swift in taking diplomatic action in the aftermath of the Gulf crisis and co-ordinated with all the diplomatic missions in the country, adding that Qatar currently hosts over a hundred diplomatic missions.
'Qatar's Foreign Minister HE Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani has been doing a great work, quickly embarking on a mission to strengthen ties with Qatar's allies all over the world, Khanzada added.
