AMMAN —AlGhad— The Independent Election Commission (IEC) Spokesperson, Jihad Momani, confirmed today that the online poll results of the Municipal and Decentralised went offline due to a glitch, caused by a system overload.

Momani confirmed that the problem will be resolved soon enough, and that works to re-upload the results are underway.

Soon, Momani underlined, the IEC will disclose the details of the technical glitch.

On the other hand, Momani called upon spectators, citizens, and monitors, to be patient as technical problems can take a while to resolve.

More so, Momani confirmed to AlGhad that the results, as published online, stand according to the official paper documents.

Monitory parties, Rased included, have expressed their concern on the results going offline, and demanded the IEC to make an official explanatory statement.

Partial results are found on the IEC's website, as the remaining results are evidently being re-uploaded.
