PESHAWAR, August 17: Infuriated by non-acceptance of demands, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Young Doctor Association on Thursday announced long march to house of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan house in Bani Gala Islamabad.

The announcement was made by YDA office-bearers while addressing a press conference here at Peshawar Press Club.

They said that they demanded of the government for a proper service structure, payment of compensation to families of doctors died during duty timing, abolition of MTI Act and restoration of Postgraduate Medical Institution.

They alleged that members of Board of Governors of all teaching hospitals were involved in massive corruption and cases have also been reported against them.

They said that even courts have ordered abolition of MTIs but the provincial government in brazen violation of court orders still maintain status quo.

They threatened to burn their degree if their demands were not fulfilled.

Talking to Tribal News Network, Dr Amjad said that their demands were genuine and would not budge an inch from them. He said that if their demands were not accepted during their long march to Bani Gala they would burn their degree outside provincial assembly.
