BJP won't be seen anywhere if opposition unites: Rahul Gandhi

At a New Delhi conclave, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi urged opposition parties to join hands to defeat the BJP.
"If we fight together, (the BJP) will not be seen anywhere," Gandhi said at the 'Sanjhi Virasat Bachao' (Save Our Shared Heritage) conclave.
This comes days after JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar broke away from the Mahagathbandhan. However, the conclave was led by JD(U)'s Sharad Yadav.

Attack
Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the PM. "Wherever Modi goes, he lies. Modi gave 'Make In India' but most things are 'Made In China'."
Modi wants 'Swachch Bharat', but "we want Sach Bharat (honest India)", Gandhi said.
He also attacked the RSS. "One says this country is mine, other says I belong to the country. That's the difference between RSS and us."
An intensification of JD(U)'s internal split
JD(U) split
This signals an intensification of the internal split in JD(U). "The real JD(U) is led by Sharad Yadav and the faction led by (Nitish) is the BJP's JD(U)," said Congress' Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Azad praised Yadav for "choosing the path of secularism" and not accepting a ministerial berth in Bihar's new JD(U)-BJP government.
Other parties present at the conclave included SP, RJD and CPI(M).
