Gaza power plant operates 2nd generator
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Gaza, Aug. 17 (Petra) - The latest confusion over electricity distribution schedules in Gaza is due to the lack of Egyptian fuel entering the besieged enclave for about one week, limiting the work to only one generator at the power plant, the strip's Power Authority announced Thursday.
The authority said in a press release today that the pumping of Egyptian fuel to the station was resumed last night, adding that another generator was operated at the plant and the distribution programs will be gradually supported.
The operating of additional generators at the plant in the enclave depends on the arrival of larger quantities of fuel, it added.
