Saudi Arabia welcomes Qatari pilgrims
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia announced it will welcome Qatari pilgrims to Saudi Arabia to perform the Haj season, despite diplomatic tensions between both countries which led to cut transport links since June.
An official said that Salwa border point between both countries will be opened for Qatari citizens who wish to perform the annual pilgrimage to pass through with no electronic permissions needed.
However, the decision came after a meeting between Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and Qatari Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali bin Abdullah bin Jassim al-Thani.
