(MENAFN) Police and hospital officials posted that 6 people were murdered as well as extra 12 were wounded as a supposed gang members broke out a hospital aiming to release a jailed associate who was there for a checkup.
"Anderson Daniel Cabrera, a gang member from the Mara Salvatrucha, was coming for a medical review," according to a police spokesman Jorge Aguilar said.
On the other hand, police added that it has detained 5 of the 7 suspected members who were equipped with attack rifles when they attacked Guatemala City's Roosevelt Hospital.
