Qatar's consumer confidence rises 0.1% in Q2


(MENAFN) Qatar's consumer confidence had increased 0.1% during Q2 of the current year, comparing to the previous quarter.

According to a report released by the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics (MDPS), consumer confidence index reached 183.8 points compared to 183.7 points during Q1 of 2017, which already ranges between 0-200 points.

While families expressed optimism about the economic current situation in Q2 of 2017, it reflects the continued confidence of consumers in the economic situation in the country.

However, polls and reports expected a recovery in the oil and gas sector, real estate projects, which will increase business activity and job opportunities.
