(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GAZA, Aug 16 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Ministry of Interior in Gaza Strip said that a suicide bomber blew himself up near Rafah border crossing to the south of the Strip.
The bombing killed a policeman and the bomber and injured a number of other servicemen, Spokesman of the Ministry Ayad Al-Barzam said late Wednesday night.
The attack took place when the policemen intercepted two suspected gunmen.
One of the suspects blew up himself and the other was injured in the incident, the spokesman added. (end) wab.gb
