Ukrian- PM Groysman: Enough funds for Affordable Medicines program in budget


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has assured there are enough funds in the budget to finance the Affordable Medicines program.

The Prime Minister said this at a briefing during a working visit to Kherson region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The program works, we have enough funds to provide people ill with such chronic diseases as cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus type II and bronchial asthma with free medicines," the Head of Government said.

According to him, 3.5 million Ukrainian citizens have already made advantage of the Affordable Medicines program.

As reported, the Affordable Medicines governmental program was launched in April 2017 and provides free medicines to citizens ill with chronic cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus type II and bronchial asthma.
