Jordan- Prince Al Hussein chairs Crown Prince Foundation meeting

Amman, Aug. 16 (Petra) -- Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II, on Wednesday, chaired a Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) meeting, during which he was briefed on its strategy and work progress in its current programs and future executive plans.

During the meeting, the Crown Prince underlined the need to include the largest number of Jordanian youth in the CPF's initiatives and to employ all possible resources for them to raise their competencies and enhance their abilities and creative energies, in order to play an active role in the construction and development process.

Prince Al Hussein was briefed by CPF's acting Chairman, Noor Abu Al Ragheb, and a number of the foundation's program managers, on the CPF's strategic plan and objectives, as well as plans to expand current initiatives and launch new ones.

Al Ragheb said the CPF's strategic programs aims at enhancing the youth's leadership, excellence and creative skills, as well as encouraging social and volunteer work.

The briefing included the latest developments on the Al Hussein Technical University (HTU) programs, Haqiq (achieve), Masar and FAB Lab Initiatives, all of which aim at strengthening Jordanian youth leadership, volunteerism and community service capacities in all fields.
