Qatar's monthly inflation jumps despite blockade


(MENAFN) Despite the blockade by four Arab nations, who stopped exporting all of their goods, involving daily consumable essentials, the prices of most items have stabilized in the regional market.

Furthermore, Qatar's monthly inflation, based on consumer price index in July this year, jumped marginally.

Accordingly, the CPI in the cited month of the year grew by 0.2 percent, which is the same both compared to year on year as well as month on month.

A month on month analysis of CPI for the cited month, compared with June, showed that there were four main groups, where respective indices in July increased.
