(MENAFN) Official figures in Brazil showed that soy exports had exceeded the total posted last year.
As the largest soy exporter in the world, it had shipped 53.37mln in mid-August, topping the total of 51.58mln tons posted in 2016.
Following an increase in bumper crop of 114mln tons in the 2016-2017 season, comparing to 95.4mln tons harvested in the previous period.
