Motorbike sales in Indonesia grow in July


(MENAFN) In Indonesia, motorcycles sales had increased sharply in July, as it is an indicator to measure the strength of purchasing power of middle class.

According to the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association, sales of motorbike grew 76.4% to 538,176 units in July from a year earlier, the highest growth in recent years.

In details, a fall posted in June, when it contracted 27% to 379,467 units from a year ago.

In May-April period, motorbike sales were 531,496 units, 388,045 units and 473,896 units.
