Pressure in incomes in UK to continue during 2017
(MENAFN) A survey predicts that pressure on incomes in UK will continue with pay rises forecast at 1% during the next year.
While unemployment is falling, wage growth is weak because the supply of labour has also gone up.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) said for every low-skilled job, there were 24 applicants.
Also, there were 19 candidates for every medium-skilled job and eight for every high-skilled vacancy.
