Kuwait- OPEC basket stable at USD 49.37 pb
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, Aug 14 (KUNA) -- OPEC daily basket price stood at USD 49.37 per barrel (pb) on Friday, compared with USD 50.70 pb on Thursday, said the international organization.
The average monthly rate of the basket price was USD 46.93 pb in July, it said in a statement on Monday.
OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Iran Heavy (Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine.(Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE), Merey (Venezuela), Girassol (Angola), and Oriente (Ecuador).
The Joint OPEC-Non-OPEC Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC) said during a recent meeting in Saint Petersburg in Russia that there were vital achievements in limiting oil production this year. (end) amg.nhq
