(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Aug 13: Director General of Kuwait Municipality Eng. Ahmad Al-Manfouhi has issued a decision to stop granting commercial licenses for any businesses along the coastline as well as stop renewing licenses of some of them.
They said the decision includes car showrooms, some restaurants, commercial and entertainment activities and hotels.
The sources explained that Kuwait Municipality conducted a comprehensive listing of the licensed activities along the coastline, and discovered that a large number of licensed shops have been encroaching on the state properties for many years.
Car offices have been taking up large spaces without obtaining appropriate license from the roads works departments in various branches of Kuwait Municipality.
