Malaysia running party heads condemn violence at Mahathir forum


(MENAFN) Heads of Malaysia's running party have convicted violence that release at a forum where previous Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad was speaking, as political stress rises ahead of a general election that could be called in coming months.

Ahmad Zahid was quoted as saying in the Star daily newspaper on Monday, "As a country that practices democracy, such an incident should not have happened."
