Hyundai Motor's workers union starts partial strike

(MENAFN) The largest automaker in S. Korea, Hyundai Motor Co. had its union members to go on second partial strike after failed labor talks with management over wage hikes and job security.

As union leaders said that workers shift will stage a strike for two hours starting at 1:30pm, workers of the following shift will walk out for two hours at 10:30 pm.

While unionists stage a strike on Thursday, they rejected to work on weekends shifts last week, for the sixth straight month for them to go on strike ahead of a wage agreement.

However, both union leaders and carmakers' management will meet to discuss their demands on Wednesday.
