UAE- Al Ihsan Charity Association implements 'Basma' project, assists 580 orphans

AJMAN, 12th August, 2017 (WAM) -- Al Ihsan Charity Association has carried out its 'Basma' projects in partnership with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Est., which donated over AED1.7 million to assist 580 orphans.

The funds were distributed to each of the orphans in the Ras al-Khaimah and Ajman branches of the association.

Nasser Al Junaibi, Executive Manager of Al Ihsan, said that the association runs several projects that support orphans, as part of its efforts during the Year of Giving to achieve social solidarity.

"The Basma project aims to provide children with their basic needs, and to fill their hearts with joy and happiness as Eid al-Adha is soon approaching," he added.

"We are proud of our partnership with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Est., which places significant efforts in supporting humanitarian and charitable projects throughout the year," Al Junaibi concluded.
