Pakistan- Independence Day celebrations to give message of peace: Sikhs

Like other parts of the country, preparations in Khyber Pakhtunkwha are underway to mark the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan with great zeal and fervor. Walls and streets are decorated with National flags while national anthem are being played in shops and houses.

Sikh community along with Muslim brothers have decorated their houses with national flags and painted it on walls of their streets.

Deedar Singh told Tribal News Network that all arrangements have been finalized to celebrate the Independence Day to give a message of peace and prosperity to the world. He said that Pakistan was their motherland and would play their due role in its development. He said it would too give a message that minority rights are protected in Pakistan who are part of daily life.
