Qatar Stock Exchange index drops 64.32 points

Out of 44 companies listed on the bourse, shares of 37 were traded. Of these, nine gained and 26 companies closed lower, while two remained unchanged.
Indices of all sectors ended in the red on Thursday. QSE Total Return Index lost 0.69% to 15,499.66 points, while QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index declined 0.44% to 3,695.56 points and QSE All Share Index fell 0.56% to 2,638.19 points.
Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 64.32 points (0.69%) when the bourse closed trading at 9,242.82 points on Thursday.
The volume of shares traded fell to 6,519,695 from 7,371,119 on Wednesday and the value of shares dropped to QR160,716,204.15 from QR189,095,357.85 on Wednesday. Out of 44 companies listed on the bourse, shares of 37 were traded. Of these, nine gained and 26 companies closed lower, while two remained unchanged.
