(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug. 11 (Petra) -- Jordan was named world's 9th safest country in the 2017 edition of the Gallup's Law and Order index.
With a score of 89 out of 100, Jordan made it to the top ten countries, where the population feel safe, according to Gallup index, which measures the feeling of personal safety as well as individual experiences in terms of crime and law enforcement.
Meanwhile, Singapore topped the index with 97 points, followed b Uzbekistan, Iceland, Turkmenistan, Norway, Switzerland, Algeria and Finland.
At the Arab world level, Jordan ranked second after Algeria, with a one-point gap.
