(MENAFN) Yemen's national blood bank may be forced to shut down due to a shortage of money after a global medical charity decided to end two years of help.
Meanwhile, patients suffering diseases like thalassemia, cancer and kidney failures as well as victims of a two-year civil war would be affected if the bank closed.
Furthermore, the country of 27mn is also facing a cholera epidemic that influenced almost 600.000 people and killed 2.000.
However, the center suffers from a whole shortage of supplies, involving medical solutions, blood bags and medical needs.
