U.S. denies responsibility for attack near Syrian border
(MENAFN) The U.S.-led coalition fighting IS denied an attack near the Syrian border which killed dozens of members of an Iraqi Shi"ite militia.
Accordingly, 36 of Iran's al-Shuhada militia had been killed in the attack and 75 others were injured and receiving treatment.
In addition, the initial investigation showed that Islamic State launched the attack against the militia group.
Furthermore, the allegations were inaccurate and denied conducting air attacks in that area at the time.
