(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, Aug 7 (KUNA) -- An Egyptian court upheld on Monday death sentences against 12 suspects, and life imprisonment against 140 others in the 2013 Police Station Attack in Minya Governorate in Upper Egypt.
Minya Criminal Court also acquitted another 238 defendants in the same case.
The Court of cassation had accepted an appeal against the criminal court's sentences, which included acquittal, life and death decisions. (end) rg.mys
