Turkish airports record jump in passengers, cargo in 7 months


(MENAFN) Turkish airport officials posted that the number of passengers passing through airports have increased by 7.4% year-on-year in the January-July period of 2017.

Additionally, General Directorate of State Airports Authority added that over 105 million consumers have used Turkish airports in the first 7 months of the current year compared with 97.9 million in the same era of 2016.

During the same cited time, the number of international passengers climbed by about 12.4% to hit almost 44.2 million.

Never the less, the country's cargo traffic have seen further surge by 8.5% year-on-year.
