Kuwait's KGL posts 119.8pct increase in Q2 profits


(MENAFN) Kuwait and Gulf Link Transport (KGL) posted a jump of 119.8 percent in profits amid the second quarter of this year compared to 2016.

Moreover, earnings grew to USD3.37mn in the cited period of the year from USD1.53mn in the same period of 2016.

Through the Jan-June period of this year, profits increased by 82.6 percent to KWD1.75mn from KWD958.460 in the same period of 2016.

In the first quarter of this year, KGL recorded an increase of 47.9 percent in profits to almost KWD731.310 from KWD494.410 in Q1, 2016.
