A variety of cultural activities held as part of the cultural sector's summer activities kicked off at the Qatar National Theater, Doha Corniche and a number of shopping malls. The events are to continue until August 19 at the Qatar Mall, Ezdan Mall, and Villaggio and Festival Mall.
Launched by the Culture and Arts Department of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the events began yesterday at the Qatar Mall with an artistic performance, including a collection of national music and songs as well as a direct drawing by a group of distinguished artists. Today and tomorrow, Ezdan Mall will feature children's murals, children's workshops, art galleries, cultural and leisure activities, handicrafts and others, in two phases starting from 10am to 12noon, and 5pm to 9pm,
in addition to national songs, folk songs and national
plays.
