Five Venezuelan protesters killed in opposition strike


(MENAFN) In Venezuela, five people were killed in renewed clashes between police and protesters where a strike called for by the opposition is taking place.

According to Venezuelan prosecutors, a 49-old man killed during protests in Carabobo state and another 16-year old boy killed in the Caracas neighborhood of Petare in clashes.

While previously announced 23-year old man death and a 30-year old man in Western Meridan state, a 16-year old boy killed also in Caracas neighborhood.

However, latest losses bring to 108 the number of people killed in four months of violent protests against the government of President Nicolas Maduro.
