(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) (Pajhwok): Pajhwok Afghan News, in collaboration with the Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC), on Sunday launched its Short Message Service (SMS) to inform subscribers swiftly of events in the country.
The system that formally started today enables AWCC customers to easily get SMS news as part of daily, weekly and monthly packages.
AWCC users could subscribe to the monthly package for 30 afghanis. The news code is 11, Dari 12 and English 13. The codes should be sent to 512.
The weekly package could be activated for 10 afghanis. Write 8 for Pashto news, 9 for Dari and 10 for English and send it to 512.
Pajhwok also offers a daily package of SMS services. Users could get the daily package for 2 afghanis only by writing 5 for Pashto news, 6 for Dari and 7 for English and sending it to 512.
Access to daily news is available for one afghani. The users could write 14 for Pashto, 15 for Dari and 16 for English and send it to 512.
Weekly sports news is available for five afghanis. The users could write 17 for Pashto, 18 for Dari and 19 for English and send it to 512.
Monthly sports news could be received for 15 Afghanis. Interested individuals should write 20 for Pashto, 21 for Dari and 22 for English and send it to 512.
