Oman- Operations at Sohar Aluminium plant to resume soon, says CEO


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Sohar Aluminium has said that normal operations will resume at the earliest after an incident that occurred at its plant on Friday. The incident resulted in the interruption of Sohar Aluminium's operations.

In a statement, Said al Masoudi, chief executive officer, Sohar Aluminium, said, 'The situation was immediately controlled and there were no injuries recorded. Our team of experts and engineers have assessed the situation and have ensured that all necessary controls are in place to mitigate any risks.

'At the moment, the safety and security of our employees and all stakeholders remains our paramount concern. There are no long-term implications on the daily operations of the company and we will resume normal operations at the earliest.
