(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Aug 2 (KUNA) -- The Audit Bureau regularly examines internal supervision systems and regulations applied at the public departments, affirmed a senior official of the bureau.
Hessa Al-Meshaan, the chief auditor, made the affirmation to KUNA, on Wednesday, after the bureau took part in the recent, third meeting of the team charged with assembling audit data of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), hosted by the Russian capital Moscow.
The Audit Bureau took part in the meeting for following up on an international project for assembling audit data.
The Kuwaiti delegation, during the meeting, proposed some changes in the proposed program for enhancing examination of procurements and sales.
The international project is forecast to see light by February 2018, to be effective by ISO no later than February 2019.
The meeting included delegations from China, Canada, the US, Malaysia, Romania, Holland, Japan, Thailand, France and Finland. (end) km.rk
