Ukrainians in Zakarpattia region to work one hour less because of extreme heat


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Due to the extreme heat in Zakarpattia region, the working day will be shortened to seven hours for the period until August 10.

This report was posted on the official website of Hennadiy Moskal, Chairman of Zakarpattia Regional State Administration.

"The chairman of Zakarpattia Regional State Administration signed an order to shorten the working day by an hour from August 2 to August 10. According to weather forecasts, anomalously high air temperatures are expected in the region during this period, reads the report.

Hennadiy Moskal noted that daytime temperatures in most parts of the region are expected to reach 36°C - 38° C.
