At Riding To The Top Therapeutic Riding Center (RTT), children and adults with disabilities work together with horses, volunteers and staff to reach their highest potential. Our clients have a wide range of disabilities that include but are not limited to cerebral palsy, brain injury, autism, learning disabilities, multiple sclerosis, PTS, spina bifida, emotional disorders, Down syndrome, developmental delays and sensory integration dysfunction. Each week RTT serves up to 100 people from more than 45 towns in southern, central and mid-coast Maine (as well as a number of towns in eastern New Hampshire).
RTT receives no state, federal or municipal funding and over 60% of all participants require some level of financial assistance in order to participate.
