(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug 1 (Petra) -- The General budget deficit declined to JD420.7 million before foreign aid by the end of the first half of the current year, compared with JOD531.8 million in the same period of 2016, according to according to official data.
Jordan's budget deficit after foreign aid stood at JOD302.5, compared with JOD291.1 in the corresponding period of 2016, the Ministry of Finance said in a report published on Tuesday.
The total value of public revenues amounted to JOD3.446 billion, down from JOD3.528 billion in the same period last year.
The report indicated that foreign assistance declined to JOD118.2 million from JOD240.7 million in the first half of 2016.
