(MENAFN- Gulf Times) His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday ratified the following Cabinet Decisions:
1. No 33 of 2017 setting up a Committee to resolve administrative disputes arising from the application of the provisions of the Law regulating Tenders and Auctions and its Executive Regulation as well as the rules and procedures to be followed before it.
2. No 34 of 2017 on the implementation of the provisions of Law No 24 of 2002 on Retirement and Pensions for Qatari employees in Qatar Institute for Exhibitions and Conferences Development and Al Sraiya Holding Group.
The decisions shall be implemented and effective starting from the date of its issuance and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
Emir issuestwo decrees
His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday issued Decree No 58 of 2017 ratifying an Air Services Agreement between governments of Qatar and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines signed in Doha on 20/03/2017, the text of which is annexed to this decree.
The agreement shall have the power of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
The Emir also issued Decree No 59 of 2017 ratifying an agreement of cultural co-operation between the governments of Qatar and Greece signed in Doha on 29/01/2013, the text of which is annexed to this decree.
The agreement shall have the power of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.
Instrumentsof ratification
His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday issued the following instruments of ratification:
1. An instrument of ratification approving a draft agreement for co-operation in the legal field between the governments of Qatar and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines signed in Doha on 20/03/2017.
2. An instrument of ratification approving a draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) for co-operation in the field of agriculture between the governments of Qatar and Turkey signed in Trabzon on 18/12/2016.
3. An instrument of ratification approving the ratification of an agreement on the exemption of visas requirements for holders of diplomatic and special passports between the governments of Qatar and Poland, signed in Warsaw on 05/05/2017.
4. An instrument of ratification approving a draft agreement for economic co-operation between the governments of Qatar and Poland signed in Warsaw on 05/05/2017 agreement.
Emir sends cablesof congratulations
His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and His Highness the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday sent cables of congratulations to King Mohamed VI of Morocco on the anniversary of his accession to the throne.
Qatar takes part in GCC scout camp
A Qatari scout delegation will take part in the GCC scout camp which will be held in the Oman from today until 7 August.
Supervised by the Qatar Scouts and Guides Association of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the delegation includes 10 students and a number of supervisors.
The GCC scout camp aims to share experiences between participants from various GCC countries, introduce scouting and field experiences, and identify environmental places to raise awareness about the importance of preserving and protecting them.
The programme includes a number of cultural, social, artistic and historical activities.
