(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) held a celebration at the Masirah base under the patronage of its commander Air Vice Marshal Matar bin Ali al Obaidani to mark the arrival of the first batch of Hawk jets on Saturday.
The Hawk fighter jetsare being delivered to the sultanate as a result of an agreement with British BAE Systems. RAFO aims to obtain the latest in modern technology in relation to airplanes and equipment, Air Vice Marshal Obaidani said at the event.
