UAE Ambassador presents credentials to President of Palau

NGERULMUD, Palau, 30th July, 2017 (WAM) -- The UAE Ambassador to the Philippines, Hamad Saeed Al Zaabi, has presented his credential papers to the President of Palau, Tommy Remengesau, as non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Palau.

During the meeting, the UAE envoy conveyed the regards of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to President Remengesau.

The UAE Ambassador stressed the importance of promoting bilateral and cooperation relations and for expanding the common interests of both countries.

The President of Palau expressed his delight at the depth of relations that his country shares with the UAE, and for the support it provides in the field of clean energy, as well as the UAE's leadership's keenness to strengthen its relations and common interests with Palau.

The President also conveyed his regards to the UAE leadership.
